Hypericum Centrepiece

Hello everyone and welcome to my new blog and especially to all my Scandinavian visitors today. (The translation bar is at the bottom of the screen).

I'm just about finished tweaking the html in the new template though for some reason it doesn't like 3rd party html unlike on my other blogs. (I've just figured that one out thankfully - I went to post options which is just above that orange publish post button in edit and realised that I didn't have "interpret html" ticked so now it's working yeah!

Unfortunately its one of those templates that doesn't work with the cute font hack from Kevin and Amanda's place. Saying that I did have to take that fancy font off one of my blogs 6 months ago as it was slowing down my page loads.

Anyway feedburner is set up (and I even have 3 of you subscribed already - thank you!) and it's linked to my twitter account.  Sitemaps have been submitted to google and yahoo and a few bits of tweaking done behind the scenes to the html code.  Today I finally made my little favicon  which you can see up in the google search bar to match the blog layout and it's hosted here.

I used to use Scrapblog in the days when it was a free service and long before it ever had it's trial on photobucket but now that I have Photoshop CS5 I've started doing some digital scrap booking again and I used some of the free papers and elements from Shabby Princess to design this template.  I also used one of Rita's clipping masks from Coffeeshop blog  to make my blog header. I made my signature thanks to a tutorial over on the Cutest Blog on the Bloc.  Finally there is one site that I find invaluable when I'm doing my web design and its called Colorzilla and its an eye dropper that works with firefox and now....... I'm ready to roll!

This is my submission to NF Macro which is  the weekly Swedish macro meme that I love participating in.

NOTE: I had to take disqus comments off as they were not working properly with my template........back to blogger ones again!

WOW! What a wonderful and lovely yellow shot. I love that color! Makes me happy :-) And what a great shot it is to that!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I tend to forget some of the memes are international so I also keep forgetting to write something describing in English....
